Now that we've helped Mark from Plano with his 35K mid life crisis car. How about an interesting sporty ride in the 10k - 15k range?

I know where there is a 2001 Audi tt coupe with 67k miles - 14k - lot of car for the money

Depends on the individual really... For me, the E30 is better suited as a raw sportscar, whereas the E36 M3 is a more balanced between sport and luxury.

A clean, stock E30 M3 is going to be a bit over OP's budget, unfortunately. It's also going to have higher and relatively expensive maintenance. Only true frans should get one (and keep it stock) at this point.

A stock E36 M3 with fresh, stock bushings, springs, and dampers is one of the great handling cars of all time, and a great all-around car you can use every day.
