What do you think NYC is missing ?

I've lived in NYC my entire life. I've traveled, locally and abroad, an appreciable amount of times but nothing really substantial. I haven't lived anywhere else for an extended period of time and it makes me wonder: For those who have called NYC home, boro's included, and have lived/traveled extensively, what do you think NYC is missing that you've experienced elsewhere ?

I'm just curious as to what the collective group has to say..

Boogz.

New York remains a world class city ... and is missing little if anything.

Well, perhaps green space.

Needs fewer potholes. Also, the weather kinda sucks, especially the hot, humid summers.

NYC, like most places, is missing most things. That's a sorta pointless question...

This is pretty obvious, but NYC needs more security at all levels of government.
Oh...and more whores at reasonable prices helps too.

Well ... things are now coming to mind.

It's missing W1.

W1S 3PH
W1S 3AT

It's also missing Place Vendôme. Although some might suggest that Kabbaz is close enough.

Escape. I love New York and don't think it's missing much, but it is hard to get away from easily. You have to travel a ways to get into the country, and if you want a second place, you'd better be loaded, lucky, or willing to do a lot of work. I guess you could add "outdoors" activities like hiking/biking/climbing that are a bigger deal in other places.

+ 1. I will add good Mexican food to the list. Oh, and easily accessible swimming pools.
