having had to switch a couple of times, I find that I prefer a 'group practice' where I can see whatever doctor is available. That said, I have had several recomendations to try and find a doctor who is closer in age to you. Something about growing with your doctor, so they know you your whole adult life, and are able to better understand issues that may be specific to your age. I also looked for someone who had either a big enough or small enough practice that I could always get an appt quickly, and who would do my prescriptions refills right away. Dont be afraid to call and talk to the recptionsist and ask those kind of questions, and there is nothing wrong with trying a doctor, decidiing the vibe isnt right and moving on.
