I read recently that Subway was looking for a new spokesperson because they felt the Jared angle had run its course. He did lose that weight over 10 years ago. They need something fresh.

According to BusinessWeek , Subway launched a marketing campaign promoting the $5 footlong , which proved to be pretty successful.
