We have this one. It does a fine job (our cleaning lady almost kissed us when we switched her previous Hoover to this) and was 50% off at Home Depot so not even that expensive.

I have lots of hardwood floors and we like to use in addition to the Dyson, the smaller, lighter, and able to get into more places Swiffer SweeperVAC. It has a chargeable battery for the vacuum and is very effective for light cleaning. Plus the swiffer pads pick up a lot.
