Insurance Costs Under Obamacare - Page 44

Won’t losing the tax break on the coverage be painful for middle-class employees who make too much to qualify for subsidies?

Well, there may be ways of their employer not providing them insurance but providing them a way to get insurance that allows them to keep the tax exclusion. You have to go into the innards of what it means for the employer to sponsor the insurance. But I’m sure they’ve got a lot of lawyers working on it.

If there is a more glib way he could have addressed this issue, I don't know what it is. He basically dismisses what would amount to a substantial tax hike for an enormous swath of Americans by saying, "oh I'm sure the lawyers are figuring it out."

Also, it's great and all that he thinks employers will find a way to translate the savings they realize by dropping coverage into some other benefit, but, even if that's true, it would almost certainly amount to yet another tax increase, since the employer portion of health insurance isn't currently taxed.

So, long story short, ACA, even if it works perfectly, creates a backdoor tax increase for the middle class.

Fuck that guy. Seriously, fuck him.

So since I went I went on my own I either have to buy an "approved" plan or pay a fine. Fuck you, I'm not paying the a dime. I'll pay the fine. And it doesn't matter, since you eliminated pre-existing conditions when I get liver disease from excessive consumption in a few months I can still sign up.

Fuck you.

Fuck you in your communist fucking face. I'm going to cost you hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. You have made this my mission in life to FUCK YOU.

Which is why I'm on my 5th (fifth) bottle of wine tonight.

Thanks, America

Edit - you will all be paying more (or receive slightly less of a subsidy) because of this. Fuck you, fucking peasants. That's all you'll ever be. You are shit. You will always be shit. Congrats on being paid for being shit. I hope your children will be proud of that.

Fuck you.

Please tell your children that prior to his death you and they received health insurance from a man who made a midget rape victim cry. Please tell them that I contributed to their future by getting dozens, if not hundreds of drug dealers back on the streets. Please tell them that they owe their freedom to an alcoholic piece of shit white-trash attorney who ensured they don't have to be anally probed at DUI stops.

Inmates getting coverage under ObamaCare, as states shift cost to feds

Isn't it wonderful that us taxpayers can help these downtrodden souls.

Why shouldn't criminals get health insurance, we are the ones who put them prison in the first place?

We have lost the services of a spectacular public appointee because of Obamacare,

And mark my words, when the illustrious public servant Nancy Pelosi retires at 104 years of age, it will likely be because of Obamacare.

How sad!

Employees at an ObamaCare processing center in Missouri with a contract worth $1.2 billion are reportedly getting paid to do nothing but sit at their computers.

"Their goals are set to process two applications per month and some people are not even able to do that," a whistleblower told KMOV-TV, referring to employees hired to process paper applications for ObamaCare enrollees.

The facility in Wentzville is operated by Serco, a company owned by a British firm that was awarded $1.2 billion in part to hire 1,500 workers to handle paper applications for coverage under the law, according to The Washington Post.

The whistleblower employee told the station that weeks can pass without data entry workers receiving even a single application to process. Employees reportedly spend their days staring at their computers, according to a KMOX-TV report.

So here's a good one. If you're enrolled in one of the government subsidized plans, and you stop paying your premiums, your insurance continues to cover you for 30 days. You then have a 60 day grace period to pay up. In this 60 day period the government insurance plans place any payments to providers into "pending" mode. If the deadbeat gets their government policy cancelled the plan then shafts any provider you saw in that 60 day period.

Well done.
