Nice! Were you their personal choice (from past good experience) or was it the production company's? The only version I've seen are the movies, both the original and recent one. Both made me laugh a fit... but I'll take your word for it!

The costume desinger for both the show and the movie was William Ivey Long.

I have worked with him for many years now.
Sometimes it is a shirt or two, othertimes it is for a full cast if the lookis very period.

Gee, Carl did the shirts for "The Producers" (Tony winner) and "The Drowsy Chaperone" (Tony nominee and likely winner as the best new musical).

I am going to write to the Tony committee and demand that there be a category for "Best Custom Shirts in a Musical Comedy."
