Parker or Doc, when you measure your foot how long and wide are they? I think I may be a size smaller than you.

Any measurements on the chelseas? Photos of the soles, or at least what material the soles are?

Does anyone know whether these 8.5 Peals would fit an 8F UK? I wear an 8F in Grenson Rose collection shoes and an 8e in Tricker's Jermyn Street collection.
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Doc, purge inveighs such bitterness, as a Puritan beguiled into a benchmade, handworked and handrolled world; now recoiling at how it bewitched him and led him astray.

You'll briefly breathe more easily and tell yourself that all will become right again, but in time it will come to you that it wasn't the clothes that were the problem; that emptiness which draws most of us here will eventually call out to you again.

And when it does, you'll realise you really liked those Donegal pants. After seeing them in your thread, I went out and grabbed myself two pairs, oatmeal and charcoal.

Hi: What are the measurements on the Orvis bluchers? Do they fit true as a 9M - 43 EU? Thanks!

UPDATE: Martegani chelseas now sold. Brooks ties sold pending payment. The Purge, Part 5 coming tomorrow, if the winter sun cooperated when I was taking pics. Some Golden Fleece suits, Incos, Hermes tie, wool ties, Corneliani shirt, Pantherellas, etc.

I love donegal trou and have several pairs. I loved the pair I sold too, but the slim fit did not flatter my child-bearin' hips. As such, they were a poor balm for my existential ennui.

Sorry, I didn't see your question until just now. I tried them on and they seem pretty true to size. I can take measurements, but bear in mind the sole is pretty hefty/wide.

If anyone's been debating the EGs, I'm planning to move them to eBay soon. Possibly within the next couple of days.

Yep, still available. Though I'm thinking of keeping them in favor of selling a similar pair of the Thin Red Line monks in dark brown suede. The TRL monks would be less expensive, if there's interest in those. Both the TRL and Polo monks are unworn.

How are they different in terms of quality, fit, etc?

The TRL monks are by AS, IIRC. The Polo ones have nicer finishing on the sole and a rounder buckle. But the TRL look to be good, sturdy shoes. Less elongated than the Polo monks.

You can see them here on TRL's site, and several forumites own them, so you can find more pics with a search. My pair is marked a UK 8 and fit maybe slightly narrower in the toebox than the Polo monks. I'm sure a search would turn up more fit info as well.

I just bought pair of black RL wingtips (Sheldon). If they don't work out size-wise, I will be interested in your RL or TRL.

Damn it doc. Every time I see your signature, I keep coming back here hoping (I don't know why, but I do) that in the various sizes you'll spontaneously have some shoes in a 7.5US or an 8US. I'd have snapped up three pairs of those if you did. Can't you start making some mistakes and buying shoes two sizes too small that you need to get rid of?
