Gin for people who don't like gin

Can anyone point me to a gin that makes minimal use of the traditional juniper berries? I really want to like martinis, but a bad experience with gin in my formative years has conditioned my gag reflex to kick in at the first whiff of that Pine-Sol aroma...

Have heard good things about Hendrick's (cucumberish) and Old Raj (more Indian-flavoured).

Just drink vodka. Hendricks is adored by juniper haters as well.

Definitely second Hendrick's. I used to stay away from gin after i discovered vodka tonics, but that's changed a bit since I found Hendricks.

Hendricks is good, its still gin though and might make you gag. Why not try something ginish like Tanqueray Rangpur? Its not traditional gin, but it might help you overcome your strong dislike of juniper.

Hendrick's.

I'm having one right now with Q tonic. It's delightful.

The thing is, most bars these days will serve you a vodka martini unless you specify that you want gin.

Old raj is very good, but it is very, very strong. More for gin lovers, I'd say. You also need to make any drink with it quite wet.
