the all saint's boots have a wooden sole that wears out quickly, so you need to take it to a shoe repairer and have rubber put on it. As for style wise, I saw and compared the military boots to the delta boots, the military boots they are the same but the delta boots is not as tall, which is better imo. plus I like the color on the delta boots better.

I would suggest the f&b womens elios model, looks pretty similar to the one you posted only not as tall, my wife has had them for over a year now and they're a good 3 season boot for her, lots of wear and still looking great and going strong, you should be able to find these now in the 200-300 range on sale.

they're on sale 25% off, and i've had trouble finding this exact style (distressed/cropped military boot), lots of styles come close, but this is perfect.

is the quality on par with the $187 price tag is the real question... and how do they size??

$187 is a lot for boots? What are people really expecting for $187 distressed boots?

You know how many desert boots you could buy with that kinda money? And using stackable coupons?

Yeah sometimes SF thinking confuses me sometimes. AllSaints boots at retail aren't even as expensive as Allen Edmonds... around this price range you got what options, Bed Stu? I'd echo all the other options that people give for Buttero and F+B on sale, cool stuff.
