Favorite candle brand and scent - Page 3

Manuel Canova's Brune et d'Or is a favorite for me and my wife.

I may want to buy Ernesto and try. is that good?

I just bought my other half the Elisabethan Rose candle from Penhaligons as part of her valentines present. A truly beautiful scent. They seem to have quite a lot of their fragrances available in candle form in store.

I like the smell of aromatic candles such as lavander and chamomile.  I light them wen I want to relax or when I read books.

Been using this candle for the past six months: Cire Trudon Dada

Over the holidays and in January we burned this: Cire Trudon Solis Rex
along with the Annick Goutal Noel candle.

So Fredrick Malle just came out with an air freshener spray... $140 / bottle.... CRAZY. But it works really well.

I don't care if it smelled like the finest vaginas throughout the world, no candle is worth that much money.

Le Labo Santal 26 is very nice.

I like the scent of vervain ... assuming it's on the light side.

Aroma de Franklin, perhaps? I typically limit candle purchases to far less cash outlay.

The only candle I have is a mini candle of Tiziana Terenzi (Ebano e Teck) that I've won. It burns a little weird (wood instead of a wick). But it smells gorgeous, lots of resin/amber/vanilla, citrus, spices and wood. I think something like 30-40% parfum. They also sell stones that are soaked in 50ml pure parfum and supposedly scent a 40m² room for one year.
I just bought two of Annick Goutal's Noel for 20€ each in the bay. I'll also look out for Diptyque and Cire Trudon.
