Thread Starter
Anyone have recommendations? I'm particularly interested in biology and astronomy/astrophysics blogs, even though I probably won't understand much written about the latter.

When I want to kill time at work, but make it look like I'm still doing something lab related, I flip around ScienceDaily.

The Scientific American blogs are pretty good, although I usually stick with the magazine articles.

Nature and Science are well regarded and 'ranked' in academia.

Scientific American, and MIT's Technology Review are also quite good.

Wired magazine has some interesting articles or 'points of view' although friends who are expert in their fields tend to whinge about the accuracy of some articles in Wired on occasion.

For biology visit http://www.biology-blog.com/ and for astrology visit http://tomsastroblog.com/. I always get to read about new things happening in both fields through these blogs. Hope this helps.
