Who else plans to just do some minor paper work, hope no one comes to their office to bother them, and cruise the web today?

+ 1, and I'd like to add to that list: leave early

I'm 50/50 on that. I like to parade around the halls late, inspiring clinical staff with the concept that the boss cares.

Too much going on for me to completely slack off today. At least, no more than usual; look at my pathetic poast count.

Up to my ears in projects: Friday inventory counts, inventory value reconciliation, and system migration for year-end. Other than that - not much.

I can't wait for the lovely 7 hour drive up I-95 from Maryland to Jersey. Weather's perfect, too.

HA HA

I95 is going to suck a big one today. Why not consider Amtrak? Trains will be packed but at least it won't take so long.

Nah, I have to bring a bunch of crap with me (laundry, things to be tailored, et cetera,) and I'm driving a brother home, also.

Smoking is prohibited on the Amtrak, right?

There's only been one annoying phone call today and one of my co-workers is handling it. So I'm cruising SF, listening to jazz, and reading the news. Maybe some bullshit work before I leave.

Correct, no smoking on Amtrak, unless you are a train or an employee.

Good luck on the drive. With the rain, it's going to be misery. Hopefully you can at least get an early start? It's a drive I know extremely well (I'm from MD, went to college in NJ, drive to NYC for fun at least a few times a year) and I know how bad it can get.

I'm working a full day today. And Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
