I own a Mk1 Scirocco and though I feel VW didn't really take any design cues from the original Scirocco minus the angled rear side windows and more or less slapped on a Scirocco bagde on what looks like a shorter (height-wise) and longer Golf, I still wouldn't mind seeing them state-side.

No - because we don't get them in NA. Otherwise yes Scirocco.

i kind of wish that the golf r had the siroccos specs and the sirocco had the golf's specs
