I've been meaning to look for a new desk lamp soon. I'd like an old school one, but not the green bankers one.

I had this but it the glass broke when I moved and they don't sell replacements for those and didn't want to buy a new one, even though I really liked it.

They seem best suited to library reading room tables in large numbers. They aren't really good as task lamps because you can't move the head around easily. Right now, I am using a HumanScale Element LED both at home and in my office.
