Yes, always pump, you can allude to your sexual interest with her by inserting and retracting the pump repeatedly, if she doesn't respond you can torch the car, it's win win.

never been in such a situation. firstly, there are pump attendants at every gas station here. secondly, i try to avoid putting my life in the hands of a female driver as much as possible. thirdly, fuck xenox.

I don't think, at least up hear it is the actually act of pumping the gas that is tough and a man's job, but her standing in -40 degrees while you sit in the car is almost as awkward as pumping for her.
