Can this shoe be salvaged??

I have a pair of Testoni captoes that are very gently worn. I love them, and unfortunately so does my 10 month old pup. The soles (rubber) are in pristine condition, as is the left shoe. My pup only got ahold of the right shoe, and you can see the damage he did to the upper around the lace holes.

Is there any possible repair option here? Im not looking for complete restoration, but just something that would be wearable, perhaps maybe now relegated to more casual wear (the dreaded sportcoat w/ dark jeans option)

Given the extent of the damage, my gut strongly tells me it would take a miracle worker to revive this shoe, but I figured you guys might have more knowledge. Thanks in advance.

Probably price prohibitive. Better to cut your loss and buy a new pair.

Whoa, those are pretty wrecked. I doubt there is any solution. A shoemaker might be able to stitch some replacement leather on them but it will never look right, IMO.

I'd just give the dog the shoes and call it a loss.

Some would pay big money for that look!

Wear them with ripped jeans and start a new trend

Pups are always drawn to the best shoes . No, there is nothing you can do with the shoes , but try to find a ball that can be stuffed with dry dog food, it will give your pup something to do when you are out!

I'm with MrMonty on this one; if you could get the pup to artfully chew on the OTHER shoe as well... take off the laces and rock them with jeans and rumpled suit jacket. New trend - be the first, I think it's cool, but I happen to like artful destruction.
