Kent Wang - Affiliate thread - Page 67

I was linked to your site in another thread. I'm looking to buy new polos. Do you not carry any solid black polos, or is it just out of stock?
Question: On your new polo shipments: was there any adjustments to the cut done comparing to your last batch?
I wear "S" in your Green, Grey, Royal Blue and Navy Stripe - All fit me just fine - but the last one I ordered was "Burnt Orange" had to be altered - It did not fit like the rest (aside from buttons falling off within first 5 wears) . Size "S" on Burnt Orange almost bell-bottomed from shoulders to waist.
I wonder if you noticed that?

I'll add black polos in the fall.

That shouldn't have happened. Please email sales@kentwang.com and we'll give you a new polo and check the measurements on what we have.

Kent, are you getting any more of the 62" navy blue grenadines in soon? The website says they'll be restocked in late May, but I'm not sure if that means they'll be in in the next few days or if it means they were actually already restocked and I missed my window...

Kent, what does a round chest pocket look like? It's one of the options on your suits, but I have no idea what it is. Thanks!

They were just restocked. I also have some super-long 65" ones if you're interested in those, email sales@kentwang.com.

Damn. 65" is probably too long for me. Any idea when the next batch of 62" ones will be in? They must've gone fast this time around.

The 62" are in stock now. Sorry for not being clear.

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification.

I'd expect it refers to barachetta pocket (concave opening - popular in Neapolitan stuff). Obviously I'd confirm first.

^ Or a patch chest pocket?

Patch pocket appears to be listed as a separate option, and is available in a "round" style as well.

I was going to wait until my RTW KW suit arrived to ask about shoulder options but perhaps Kent can provide some insight in the meantime. Reading over some of the popular posts on shoulder construction/padding and shoulder expression, I was wondering where your different shoulder options fall in relation to one another. I am assuming the "traditional" comes with some padding, the "soft" comes with less, and "unconstructed" with minimal padding. What is not clear is which shoulder expression goes with each padding option (Jefferyd lists the three expressions as Roped, Natural, and Bald here).

Additionally, how would you describe the shoulder construction/padding for your "roped" shoulder expression?

Just seeking some clarification as I know some of these terms get thrown around interchangeably.

I'm working on adding illustrations that will show all the options.

Right, it's a chest pocket with rounded corners.

Traditional - medium padding, natural expression

Soft - soft padding, natural expression

Roped - medium padding, roped expression

Unconstructed - no padding, bald expression

Kent, are there still more fabric options you are intending to add or are they all up now?
