I'll definitely take the blame for not doing the measurements that were asked of me. I was pretty frustrated tho I couldn't just send it back to Aaron

My measurements were taken by Kent when he did an NYC trunk show so I can only assume that my info was input incorrectly somewhere along the line. Fortunately, most of my issues were fixable, but I spent $210 to get the suit into "good-enough" condition. My intention was to use it as a "beater suit" so i didn't make a federal case out of it. Kent did offer to cover the cost of hemming the pants if I sent him a receipt (they came finished but way too long) but I chose not to follow up on that. For some reason the sleeves which also came finished but way to long were not offered a similar remedy.

Must say I love the polo's though.

I taken the blame for my suit sleeves being too tight. I have big arms idk why I would ever agree to having them taken in even if it was .5 of an inch.

you have to remember its not .5, its .5x2 because of circumference

I do not think that's right.  When I slimmed the arm holes and the sleeve width, we discussed the alterations in terms of circumference.  My experience with KW is that he's always very precise regarding these issues.

hmm - got this when I was talking about the thigh - "Note any thigh reduction will be double for circumference, so -1cm all around."

So I guess thigh = x2, but bicep not?

I think this reinforces my point in disagreeing with your assertion to always double the modification.  KW is very explicit with these issues and will tell you to double the modification if that is how he is intending it, just like he did with you.  Mine was circumference, so there was no discussion of doubling the number. Nor was that modification doubled in the final product.

I'm agreeing with you, just emphasizing the confusion over why some measurements are doubled and some arent.

Okay, gotcha.  Probably a good reminder to always clarify this with KW when emailing modifications.

Fabric - Minnis Rangoon Light Navy (bought on a special run from a forum member)
Construction - light canvass, natural shoulder, higher gorge, standard lapel 3r2, half lined
Trousers - each pair unlined with side tabs and deep single pleats
One pair is a button fly with tab closure and the other with a button closure and zip (it was supposed to be buttons with buttons and closure with zip.. seemed to be a minor mixup at the factory).
Buttons - grey mother of pearl

Overall, very happy with the suit. The trousers came with the length finished (had requested unfinished) which took some fine tuning. Suit has been great for the less humid New York days. Light canvass was a great option and will most likely be my preference on future orders.

Was also very happy with the new lining options. I went with a green paisley dot:

Hope to get some shots of me wearing it as well as some shots of my other two up soon (though my first had to take a trip to the reweaver due to a fall in Philly a few weeks back...)

Very happy with everything to date from Kent Wang.

Decided to throw on the Rangoon for a few headshots the other day. Will get around to a full shot of the suit one of these days.

May I ask how tall you are? I've been going back and forth on the idea of ordering a suit with the wide lapels options but I'm not fully convinced yet about the proportions. Thanks!
