Only you would take pocket squares to a desert island.

Two is the necessary number of pocket squares to fashion a loincloth

You can filter water through a linen PS.

I may have to start buying larger pocket squares.

I'd certainly give something like that a look.  I'd worry a little bit about the volume that such a square would generate in a pocket, though.  My 16x16" Drake's squares are already a little more substantial than I'd ideally like.

IMHO 14x14" would be the perfect size for wool/silk and 16x16" for pure silk.  Then again, I wear smaller jackets with correspondingly small breast pockets.

I think this would depend on the makeup of the wool/silk, which, admittedly, I have no KW experience with.

I'm basing my thoughts off of Christian Kimber wool/silk ones, which I believe are 18". I absolutely love them, but the blend is extremely gauzy and airy. If KW is more substantial, then I would happily drop to 15" or 16".

In any event, I would really like to potentially see if this could fly. Any thoughts @Kent Wang?

Note: another potential F/W square would, in my mind, be The Great Hunt, depending on how it is placed in the pocket.

Do you have any idea if you will be restocking linen socks before the end of summer?

Finally got around to framing my View of Edo print from KW.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Vivid color and detail:

Enormous box it came in. (Not rolled up) Quite large for the print which is 30x14".

On another request note, any chance we can get a wider array of the dugdale linen braces? The sky blue ones I have are my favorite, and they don't seem to be offered anywhere else with braided ends.

As a reader of Ivy-Style I just came across some news the Kent Wang is looking into providing some Trad inspired items in the future. He is Apparently in contact with Christian Chensvold about a particular offering right now. Very excite!

Where'd you see that?

Note: yes, I know the obvious answer would be Ivy Style lol, but I'm not seeing anything Wang related.

Well, on Ivy-Style. lol

Specifically their Facebook page. I don't think anything official has been announced since Christian was just inquiring about interest at this point.

Is this something that folks would be interested in? If I recall correctly, Kent said such a square would run about $85, which, while not cheap, is fair, at least in my estimation.

Perhaps, to keep Kent from having extra inventory, we could (assuming Kent would be ok with this, I have not checked) get a group order of some sort to have a given square(s) run with those specs, thus eliminating the potential of said squares going unclaimed, which I know Kent has said has been a deterrent for certain offerings prior.

Very, verrryyyy early stages of this brainstorm, but, you never get what you want if you're unwilling to ask!

Have you tried the 13" wool/silk?

Maybe. What colors do you have in mind?

I have not, and probably should. I've found wool/silk squares of that size to be a bit small, but, I can't knock a KW one until I try!

In regards to braces, I'd say some combination of navy, red, grey, and beige, with navy and grey being the tops for me. Thurston's site also offers a peach, which I think would be gorgeous as well.

Peach appeals to me hugely
