@Claghorn , is that brown herringbone a KW jacket?  That's pretty much exactly what I am looking for fabric wise.

No, but it's Moon tweed and I'm almost positive Kent Wang carries either the same fabric from Moon or an recent equivalent (the jacket is several yeas old now).

---

Pretty sure it's 21

I have that very swatch book in front of me today and 21 is the one I've got my eye on.  I'm also looking at 25 and 26, which is the one I might have guessed for your jacket because 21 seems to resolve to only slightly darker than tan and your jacket seems darker.  Thanks.

Has anyone ordered a MTM overcoat - particularly tall/skinny guys? I am considering getting one as an alternative to a SuSu OTR.

NYC local so will probably pop in to try one on.

I thought it might be helpful to upload a picture of the swatches.  With the swatches directly in front of me, the picture below looks more accurate than KW's on-line pictures.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards 18, @Claghorn

A more accurate (colorwise) picture of the fabric. I think it might be 26.

I also think 18 is the way to go.

Thanks, very helpful.  This would be my first odd jacket order and I've come to the realization it's very difficult (for me) to imagine how a patterned swatch will look made up.  I cannot figure out if 21 is too light or 18 is too dark.

26 and 18 will be the most versatile and the easiest pairings.  I'd lean toward 26, by a hair.

I think I like 18 more, but I also think that it might run the risk of looking rather muddy when made up. 21 is maybe safer.

I was thinking 18 might resolve to a solid rust from a distance, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  What do you mean "muddy"?

So my girlfriend ordered me the crocodile leather wallet. Really excited as it was on my wish list for a while. I saw Brooks Brothers version but the inside of the bifold was not crocodile leather.

Therefore I prefer the Kent Wang version definitely. I have not seen it posted or talked about here though. Kent, can you offer a little review of it? icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

They have the four wallets below available. I am so confused. I sort of want brown color so favor the bottom left. But I think the best scale is the top right which is only in black.

Why is the gap so big between the scales on the bottom left?

What is the best scale?

I don't think there is a "best" scale. They are all beautiful in their own way. Personally, I like the bottom right, in scale and color.

True. I am probably debating between the bottom left or bottom right so lets see smile.gif.
