Pictures of the trial suit.  One obvious fix is that I need to add length to the front to correct the balance issue.  I'm also not sure what to think about the way it hugs my hips in these pictures as I do not have that issue in any of my other jackets.  I'm not sure if that is due to the button point being too high or something else.

Any thoughts on alterations are appreciated.

Pictures of the pants.  I have fairly large thighs from running, so I'm considering having the diameter of the legs increased to help with this.  It should also help make the proportions of the entire suit look more consistent.  Any thoughts?

Maybe add a little to the waist and hips. Shoulders look good. Kent will probably suggest to trim the "back chest" measurement. Is it tight or loose anywhere other than the hips?

Oh yes. What's the fabric? Heavy cream linen?

It's fairly loose on my sides as there is a gap between the jacket and my rib cage immediately under my arms.  This would seem to call for reducing some of the fullness of the chest and back, but I'm a little hesitant as I really want to avoid any bowing of the lapels, which are currently forming a nice V without any bowing.  I have fit issues with most jackets due to the size of my chest and frequently have found the more I slim the back and chest, the more the lapels bow or form an almond shape.

Back rise needs adjusted too.

I know this since I need this adjusted any time I get pants ever.

Fantastic clasp! I'll second the request above - what is the fabric?

My closet needs a navy suit within the next year for interviews and funerals. I'm considering smoke MOP buttons instead of black horn, but could find no photos or reference to them on this thread. Is an image available?

KW jackets and suits look better by the picture. Great job!

We're only making up to 46, which has just arrived.

It's a wool. There's not a swatch of it, but it's just a plain white twill.

They're a pretty bold look, not suitable for interviews. They look dark in this photo but they can be quite eye-catching in the light.

Well damn.  I could have sworn a week ago or two you mentioned going up to 48 here soon.

It's probably wearable, but definitely noticeable looking at two of them side by side and I prefer the shorter length. I haven't contacted Kent yet, so if any of you have any insight it would be appreciated.

Just to follow up on this. I emailed Kent with pictures of the new polo and an older polo from him with a tape measure indicating the differences. Kent agreed there was a difference and will be sending out a replacement along with my MTM suit which should be coming shortly. Excellent customer service as always.

I received a KW navy grenadine and a black knit recently. Great service, the knit was on back order, but some browsers don't show that so I got an email just to make sure I knew. Great product as well.

Just received a sports coat made from fabric, 7734. Here's a before (trial) and after (custom) picture. 95% of the measurements were done by Kent. We emailed back and forth countless times with me telling him he was wrong on a few things and him proving me wrong over and over. I told him the trial jacket was hilariously wrong for me and he told me to stick with the shoulder size, then suggested changes. We went with 95% of what he suggested.

I went through 3-4 different fabric choices before my girlfriend picked the 7734 for me.

  • Half lined
  • Soft Shoulders
  • 3r2
  • 3.5" lapels
  • Patch pockets (x3)

Trial (Left) and Custom (Right)

Back (It's linen. Embrace the wrinkles)

Shot of the interior

Hanging up

I've been going back and forth on if the shirt sleeves are too long or the jacket sleeves too short. This picture shows the shirt sleeves pulled up a bit, about a full inch. I'm starting to think the jacket is fine and the shirt is too long.

Jester,

That blazer looks amazing.  What were the sizing changes you implemented?
