Think I visited the same day as you, Saturday. Was there from around 6 - 7.

Was fitted for the suit jacket, pants, and dress shirt.

38s suit jacket needed the slope of the shoulders to be increased, sleeves needed to be shortened, and narrowed at the bottom, and the waist let out a little.

33 pants needed to be taken in at the waist and let out at the seat.

15 shirt fit me almost perfect off the rack, but Kent suggested that I take in the collar, but I thought it would be too uncomfortable for me.

I tried on the Kent Wang black oxfords and thought one size down was the best fit from my AE size. Half size down still felt a little long. I should have tried on the DC Lewis shoes while I was there, but forgot to.

The leather goods were a nice surpise and there were a few offerings in shell in what I thought were pretty competitive prices.

Afterwards, Kent and I had dinner.

Looking forward to this. I intend to order a suit once 46R is available.

Looking at the photos from your Spring Summer '13 collection, it appears that the peak lapels on the single-breasted jackets sit very low in comparison to those on the double-breasted jackets.

Is the higher gorge an option on a single-breasted jacket with peak lapels?

Hey all!

I just got some polos from KW but the measurements of my XL is differing a lot from the size guide and also comparing to the L I also ordered.

Tried to contact KW but not getting any response so I put me question here.

According to the size guide the chest, waist and hem should differ 1 inch between L and XL but my XL is 2-2.5 inch wider than my L.

My washed XL measurements (difference to size-guide):

XL, shoulder: 18.7 (+0.2)
XL, chest: 22.5 (+1.5)
XL, waist: 22 (+1.5)
XL, hem: 23.6 (+1.6)
XL, length: 27.5 (-1.0)
XL, sleeve width: 7.1 (-0.15)
XL, length sleeve: 9.25 (+0.25)

Can someone who bought a XL Kent Wang polo confirm my measures or tell me their measurements. The thing is I am going to order some custom polos but if the measures differ this much it will be hard to get it good enough!

Didn't ask if it was alive or not. Just wondering if it is real croc or embossed calf.

Am not 100% sure, but given what I paid for it ($85) I wouldn't be disappointed with either. He had a wide range of models and prices and said he could custom order whatever I wanted.

 

There were some beautiful and incredibly thick alligator wallets. This one was thinner which I liked for an everyday wallet. A simple alligator breast pocket wallet with just 2-3 cardslots and a bill flap could be in my future.

 

 

 

Any plans for new shoe models?

Kent, what fabric is that in this suit, and would you recommend it as a next choice of color as my 3rd suit (currently own a charcoal and a navy)?

Received the rest of my RTW suit today. I know the pictures could be better, but looking for recommendations on alterations for the MTM version. The jacket has some bunching in the back and upper block of the pants is definitely a bit tight. For reference I'm 5'5", approx 135lbs. This is the 34R jacket and 30w pants. I appreciate your input. Thanks.

Just got my third KW tie in the mail today - the brown cashmere herringbone. It is quite spectacular in person, such an amazing feel to the fabric.
