Agreed, great customer service from Kent. To the guy with the shirt: this is between you and Kent of course, but I'd say don't sweat the small stuff. This is coming from a guy who usually does just that, but trying to learn not to. smile.gif

Ah, Shirtmaven, thanks for the tip. I overlooked your comment earlier. I'll try it out.

Kent, thanks for you customer service. If I have any problems with it, I'll let you know. I look forward to purchasing every color polo you have or will have in the future.

You could also purchase new gift certificates with your UrbanDaddy one and the new one would never expire.

These are UrbanDaddy's terms and I was unclear on that before.

Here was Kent's last comment on the UD code. I just double checked my email from UD and it says it expires on March 3.

Kent - would you be able to confirm if we can still use the code until the 23rd? That would really help me out financially if I'm going to go ahead and order another suit. Or, maybe I'll order something like a pocket square or tie now, and then just save the remainder of the balance for whenever I'm going to get the suit. That may be a better idea actually.

If you still have the UD coupon, then you can just buy yourself a gift card so it will be longer.

Btw, went to the trunk show. There is a brown version of the handgrade single monkstrap and a boot that is not yet on the site yet.

Duh, should have thought of the gift card idea. Thanks! What kind of boot did he have there that wasn't in the site yet?

I have a bunch of unlisted, one-off leather goods at the trunk show. That Sedgewick bridle leather briefcase is $695.

Kent and Shirtmaven:

It was great seeing both of you today.  I'm really glad I was able to make it to NY to order a few custom shirts from shirtmaven, buy a couple pocket squares from Kent, pick a couple of fabrics for my next KW suits, and drool over several other pieces Kent had at the trunk show.  I'm lucky I got outta there with maxing out the credit card!

Excited to see the boot on the site.

Can we get some close ups of the leather goods?

Still waiting on my trial trousers to arrive, but I'm trying to decide if I should go for finished or unhemmed and have a local tailor finish them. It seems that measuring the inseam of a well-fitting pair of trousers would be susceptible to error if the rise isn't exactly the same as on the KW trousers. I wonder if it'd be better then to use outseam measurements?

It sure would be convenient to have the trousers arrived finished, as it would avoid the extra time and hassle of a trip to the tailor, but I'd hate for the length to be off. I also prefer a 1.75 inch cuff, but the only cuff options shown are 1.5 and 2 inches. I'll have to ask Kent about that.

I sent both in- and outseam and the length and rise was spot on, just fyi.

So you didn't specify a measurement for the rise? You just specified inseam and outseam, and rise was calculated from those two measurements? If I can have 1.75 inch cuffs done, I think I'll do the same.

Rise is just outseam minus inseam so yeah that would do it.
