What the heck are you guys thinking... If he wanted to allow 33% off, he would have presented that sale. Obviously this is a one-code, one-time promotion-- a very good one at that. Be more classy.

No this is not so obvious, since there is no provision saying anything regarding this.  Please refrain from the holier-than-thou posts.

There is nothing unclassy about wanting clarification about the sale.  Some of you people are ridiculous.

I plan on making khaki trenchcoats in three months or so.

Is it crazy that I would consider getting one, even though I already have the navy?

It is obvious. Clearly the code wasn't meant to be stack-able, in which case Kent would be holding a 1/3-off sale on all merchandice. Had he wanted to do that, the promotion would have said so. Think about it.
There's nothing unclassy about wanting clarification on a promotion. However, there is something unclassy about claiming that the "fine print" doesn't say you can't have a steeper sale than what is obviously offered. It may not have been clear to the letter, but there's no need to point out that oversight publicly, implying the possibility that you could cite technicality to obtain a better discount.

I'm a bit confused on what's being argued. There is one promo box when you purchase something, you can only use one code per transaction. Are people saying it is immoral to purchase two codes and use them on two separate orders?

Again, you are putting words into Kent's mouth, and have a very bizarre sense of what is unclassy.

I have never used Kent's checkout site before, so if as someone said above there is only one coupon code box, and indeed the deal is done via coupon codes, then that makes it pretty clear.  But it is patently ridiculous to make the claims you guys are making about it being unclassy, unethical, or whatever else.

Importantly, will that be before or after March 3rd?

I'll admit, I am less clear on this question than stacking.

It's worth noting that you can use a promotion code ("X1FUS") to get 20% off your first purchase from UrbanDaddy, which makes the deal substantially better ($80 for $150 in credit).

Wow that's slick. I've been thinking about these Sapphire cuff links. Awesome or too flashy?

Wow, I was going to wait a few more days before doing the $100 on Urban Daddy but am going to do it tonight with the code smile.gif

best first post in SF history....I was hesitating on getting this, but with the additional $20 off it was just too good to pass up. I wasn't even planning on getting anything new at the moment, but I'm sure I will find something else to buy very shortly.

Out of stock.

Kent: for the brushed sterling tie bar, what is the best way to remove tarnish without making it shiny? Does normal silver polish work? I only have experience with smooth, shiny silver.
