Here are a couple of pics of the trial jacket.  I appreciate any advice you guys can give as far as adjustments for the mtm.

I just got the white linen one with the navy trim and it is awesome!

Can anyone comment on Kent's suit fit vs a Lauren Ralph Lauren? I'm a 40R in that, but I'm not sure which suit to order from Kent for the trial suit.

It looks like there is pulling on the sleeves. can you take another picture with your arms hanging naturally at the sides? You may want the sleeves shortened slighly, as I can't see any shirt cuff showing.

My opinions:
0. You really need to post a full-shot to get feedback on pants.
1. Lower button stance by 2cm to 2.5cm
2. Take in waist by 0.5cm.
3. Decrease back chest by 3cm.
4. Increase front chest by 4cm.
5. Decrease upper back vertical length by 0.5cm.
6. Shorten back jacket length by 1.5cm.
7. Shorten sleeves by 1.5cm.

*1, 5, 6 will balance the jacket on you, so that it doesn't look shorter at the front.
*3, 4 will fix that sleeve wrinkling and the extra room at the back.
*5 will make that tiny roll on your upper back disappear.

Looks pretty good so far!

Don't be afraid to bounce ideas off of Kent as well. He probably won't take everything you say straight up without asking a few return questions. I had a few specifics that I wanted but wasn't sure how to transfer the changes into measurements, and he has been good to edu-ma-kate me.

You can tell that some things need to be adjusted by 0.5 cm from looking at 3 (poor quality) pictures? That's pretty good.

I took another few photos tonight that I hope are somewhat better.

Thanks again for all the input I've received. I also sent to Kent (who also suggested better pictures), but he offered some good advice.

It's best if you just measure the shoulders on a jacket that fits you well. We can adjust all other measurements substantially, but the shoulders only a bit.

Obviously I am estimating, giving the guy a basis of measurement changes that I think would work. The waist seems slightly full so I mentioned it. The rest of the fit would definitely benefit from my suggestions.

Has anyone worn both Kent Wang and Ralph Lauren polos? Does anyone know if the quality is discernibly different?

Have not worn KW polos, but RL polos are VERY low quality IMO.  My Lands End polos are nicer than the RL ones I've worn in the past, and no stupid pony either.  I would think that KW polos are much nicer than the two brands I just mentioned.

I had always thought that Polo Ralph Lauren and Ralph Lauren Black Label were the pinnacle of 'polo shirting' quality, both in fabric and construction.

I guess I have been mistaken for quite a while.

RLP Polo's are not very low quality. Kent Wang does have the best polos, though. Out of all my polos, the KW are def best.
