Let me put it to you like this: of all my items that I have, the umbrella is one of the few things that make me really happy each time I use it. Every time it rains and I get to use it I feel like I'm straight out of Paris Street; Rainy Day, fine ass broad on my arm, strolling down the Champs-Élysées on the way to meet Hemingway at the absinthe bar.

The solid stick just looks so sweet, with that nice variegated color. Don't bother with similarly priced metal stick umbrellas. On an average day, you're probably not the only person on the street with a nice suit and shoes, but when it rains I can guarantee you that you will be the only one with a solid stick umbrella.

You know how when it's raining and everybody's walking down the street with umbrellas and you gotta make sure to not let your umbrella collide with other people's umbrellas? Well, when you are a wielding a solid stick, everybody will see how sick that stick looks and will step aside to make way for your superior umbrella.

Can you put a price on this kind of power?

We were going to do overcoats but I don't think it'll be ready this year.

Jeans probably won't happen for a few years. I don't wear jeans as much as I used to.

Hi guys,

I love my umbrella. It keeps me dry. Hasn't blown inside out. Don't know what else to say about an umbrella in terms of a review...

But yeah, IMO if you're going to buy an expensive umbrella, then you want people to know it's relatively unique. So you want solid stick.

Shipping from KW is also pretty cheap to Aus

Whether it's "worth the money" depends on how much money you have...

Once I can afford it I plan to buy a second so I can leave one and home, and one at work.

I hate using my firm's garish branded umbrella, ugh.

Yeah the shipping for the umbrella to Swed was $18 which I think is ok actually. Glad to hear you like it, hope I will do to :) Since it's raining crazy here

Hey Kent dumb question here - on the fabric swatches for the luxury fabrics - F/W - jacketing - I'm trying to figure out what the abbreviations mean -

WO
WS
SE
PE

etc.

Also is the pricing pretty varied per swatch or do various batches have the same pricing?

Sorry if you've been over this already or if that info is posted elsewhere.

WO and WV - wool

WS - cashmere

SE - silk

PE - polyester

Most of swatches have the price written as A, B, C, D, etc. See price table at the bottom of the page. The Luxury Jacketing book is mostly F and H grade, so quite expensive.
