According to the polo measurement chart, 42 jacket would translate to XXL, though sizing up two from Polo Custom Fit is quite a bit, so maybe you could be XL. The best way to know for sure is to compare the measurements on the chart to a shirt that fits you well. The shoulder measurement is the most important.

So I got a medium polo and I thought it was a little bit too big so I sent it back for a small which are too small. Are these pre-shrunk or would a washed medium be perfect for me?

Just received my first *real* pocket square from KW. Never imagined there could be such a dramatic difference in the quality/craftsmanship of one company versus another in this area, but I am a convert. Thanks Kent.

Kent,

How are the arm scythes cut on your suits? I am a pretty easy otr fit in 40r but often have issues with arm scythe width which causes dimpling because of fabric stretching. Are your suits on the narrow or generous side with regards to this?

The armhole is slightly on the narrow side. Some customers ask for narrower still, though no one has asked for wider.

 

And of course we can change all this for MTM.

If it makes any difference, I'm also kicking myself for not buying the blue version of that one before it sold out. Would definitely buy it if you were to restock.

I'm 5'10", 155lbs, 36-37 chest and size M is perfect on me, so maybe try an S? They do shrink minimally in the first couple of washes FYI. Also returns are ridiculously easy so if S is too small for you just exchange it for an M

Purple grenadine tie in garza fina is now available

 

The navy cat pocket square will be back sometime this month (July). The burgundy colorway might return in the fall.
