Congrats man! If you had a picture next to Vanilla Ice, right after a pic of you and LabelKing, I don't know what I would do.

How did Vanilla Ice get a show on the DIY Network?

My guess would be nostalgia value. The people who run show development at cable networks are in their early to mid 30s, typically, and at the moment, that would place them squarely in the demographic who grew up with Vanilla Ice.

+1 Seriously, what qualifies him to have his own show about flipping houses and home improvement?

Just to confirm to be 100% sure, we should order our true US shoe sizes now?

Also - any idea of when you would have the hand grade monkstrap in 7 or 7.5?

One more thing for members who have purchased some of Kent's shoes, would the shoes mentioned above or the benchgrade chukkas be a noticeable step up from my six or seven pairs of AE's (strands, fairfax, hales, etc)? I'm considering my first pair of "nice" shoes, without going as far as Lobbs, and I'm wondering if this is a good direction to go.

Okay last thing - what is the wait time on the charcoal suit in a 36R? And then the subsequent wait time on the custom suit? I'm thinking I'm ready to pull the trigger on a MTM light grey Loro Piana suit and I have a problem with patience biggrin.gif

I have to ask what your profession is. I must admit I envy your fine collection of clothes and would love to hear a ballpark figure on number of shirts, suits, pants, and shoes. It might make me cry, however.

Isn't it obvious? Spoo is Vanilla Ice. The dots have been there all along, but in this thread, we've finally been able to connect them.

Spoo is part of the Illuminati. Apparently well connected with powerful people. I would not pry further in what he does, or you may disappear.*

*These allegations may or may not be true.

Hi Kent, was wondering if you can help out on sizing on your rugbys/long sleeve polos. I am a:
  • 39cm/15.5 inch neck in shirt sizes (TM Lewin, etc)
  • a medium in PRL custom fit
  • a 40R/L chest in suit jackets

Can you recommend whether I should be hitting the large or extra large - my preference is for a close fit, but not excessively tight.

We usually recommend XL for 40R, but sizing up two from PRL is a bit much, so I recommend L for you.
