Did I ever say the gene would disappear? You should stop trying to maintain face if you can't even read

"it" means red hair dumbass. "genetic" is a little thing in English we call an 'adjective' to describe the 'reports' ...this sentence therefore never mentioned "genes" or anything about them disappearing. I wish you luck in this country mr. why, since I assume you must have recently arrived... English is hard, but you'll get the hang of it

Besides, there seem to have been very few pictures of red-headed members of this or similar forums. Edit: there is also a lack of famous stylish red-headed men.

Now for the much-loved/hated poll...

I have always pictured you as a redhead for some reason.

Am I misunderstanding, or are you saying most of the posters on this forum are rejects? That's harsh, man.

I have a friend with longish red hair and he gets compliments on it all the time. If I had his hair I'd never dye or shave it.

Well according to Wikipedia approximately 1 to 2% of the world wide population has red hair and between 2 and 6% in northern and Western Europe. Didn't see the American average in there but say it is like 5% which I think would be high.

If those numbers are accurate red heads seem to be overrepresented here on Styleforum.

Yeah, you're right. 'Genetic' doesn't mean 'genes' despite the fact that it's a derivation with the same morpheme. Oh, and my English sucks. Look, you said something stupid because some other idiot said the same thing and you repeated it. You're wrong. Red hair will not be 'bred out' of the human race. 'Bred out' implies a loss in the gene. This is not occurring because the gene itself is never lost.
