Silva is a bum. I honestly think we should pay him to sit his fat ass down and have Jakubauskas start in his place.

I am getting worked in all three of my leagues. The only one its close in, is the league with the crappy draft.

I hear you...in my other (cake) league I started Shields, Webb, and CC. Jered Weaver is saving my pitching week right now. You know my struggle in the SF league...ugh.

What was the record of the winner last year? 24 weeks...I'm assuming something like 15 or 16 wins?

We did it on an elaborate scoring system on my request. I won the reg season by 3 games I think.

But Slim slaughtered me in the playoffs- 12-3 I think?

And Webb is out- the black pin worked.

Wow yes he is. The question now is the same as the big question about Carpenter: can he stay healthy?

It doesn't matter Steve. You should know that by now.

Just scientific curiosity. Want to see if pins work. Next will be baseball cards in the freezer.

Oh I didn't expect the scoring to count every category, I thought it aggregated so even if you won 6-4, you would get all the "win" for the week.

That's how it worked last year IIRC. I was also surprised.

This makes it more like a points league where you aggregate stats over the course of the year, as opposed to a league in which if you are really strong in 6 categories but suck in 4, you can actually win on a weekly basis. Different strategies I suppose.

For the record, the winning team: "The Tokyo Slam" went 198-152-24

Steve's second place squad went 197-146-31
