Johjima is a unique problem, since our ownership won't allow any trades of our Japanese talent.
Even if we COULD trade any of these bums for anyone else.
Who's going to pick up a nine million dollar Carlos Silva or Jarrod Washburne? Nobody.
Anyway, this is a team I drafted the week before the SF draft. 10-man league with unorthodox scoring (5x5 plus H, BB, OPS, IP, K/BB, K/9). Teams keep two pitchers and two hitters from previous years, and I've marked mine with a K. The remaining players go into the pool and we draft accordingly.
I wish all my teams looked like this. I had the first pick and took Howard (as other teams kept Hanley, Pujols, etc.)
C - Martinez
1B - Howard
2B - Utley (K)
SS - Alexei Ramirez
3B - Wright (K)
OF (3) - Kemp, McLouth, Abreu
Util (2) - Pence, Votto
Bench: K. Johnson, Napoli
SP - Sabathia (K), Webb (K), Shields, Slowey
RP - Fuentes, Devine/Ziegler, Bell, Balfour
DL - Hoffman
The league is shallow and the managers aren't exactly the best. Examples: Justin Upton, Jered Weaver, and Carlos Guillen are in FA. Pence also fell to me at pick 120 (!!), I passed as I reached on him last year and had 4 OFs before I took him.
