Jesus Christ people. This is not a fashion forum. It is a style forum. Classic DBs are stylish. They always have been stylish. They always will be stylish. Wear them in good health and apparent awesomeness.

No. You can either say it's wrong because it's dated, or it's wrong because it's too trendy. You'd be wrong either way, but at least do the decent thing and don't argue both sides.

fashion and style are one in the same and they at the moment and for some time now have not been stylish and may be stylish again but right now are not you can wear them if you so choose to i'm not saying you shouldn't i'm only stating the fact on them. I for one would not wear them but am not someone to tell others not to go aginst the grain, as you can see I am someone who likes to dip into lost relics of the fashion world.

On one hand they are dated but the ones seen in the pics are of a trendy style and are also wrong because nither one has any staying power and it would not be wrong to say so.

I like it generally but the buttoning stance is a little too high for me which make the lapels appear short. IMHO the buttons should be a bit lower.

6x2, 4x2, and 4x1s are classic jackets that have been around for ages. They will always be stylish, though perhaps not in fashion. I cannot believe that we are having this argument, especially considering your handle "bowtielover," an accessory similar to DB suits in its rarity. Evidence you are mistaken: Can we /argument yet?

I guess that adage about 3 piece and DBs worn more during hard times is true because they seem to be more popular now in a season where bell ringing Santas got cancelled.

I really, really like that cover DB. (not crazy about the "nipple buttons" effects, but love the shape & fit). Unfortunately, they don't ship to the USA and don't offer it in black, but thanks for the link.

That Ede & Ravenscroft DB is awesome. I agree that the button stance is a touch high but that may be necessary to get the closely tailored fit on the body.

Anyway, I'm off to London to buy suits. I'll be back when I'm broke.
