Hardly an eyesore. If these are viewed in the context they were conceived in, they are stunning examples of high Modernism.

I actually think it looks pretty amazing in person, that is a really bad picture/angel though. One of the few buildings with character in an otherwise bland and boring city. And no it is not a bug museum, but a performing arts centre and concert hall and generally called the Durian, a fruit that it very much resembles from most angles. I also like the Jardin building in Hong Kong. The 1000 arseholes nickname is even more fun considering it used to house some kind of government agency at the time it got it's name.

If those are an eyesore, please post a photo of what you do find attractive in an office tower?

So a blue prism is more attractive to you? And a skyline should be bright? What are some examples of what you find to be impressive or valuable pieces of architecture?

Again, what people choose to post here gives a good indication of their own level of taste.

I don't have a problem with people posting Mies van der Rohe, because I certainly don't think there is anything about his buildings that make me want to be near them or step inside them. They are chillingly austere and being around them for very long, while living in Chicago, made me start clinching my teeth.

Tinted glass has had its day and needs to go. It's the VHS tape of transparency control.

Yeah - da Vinci and Mozart sucked too
