Ey Friends.

I think that G-Star is hated in this forum, but I got to plain slim ones , I mean with no letters and sh*t on the back of it that I wear with $$ jackets most of the time.

I also find the denim is pretty sweet and durable, non as Replay, that went white after several washes.

Do you like it?

their shirts and outerwear actually fit really good, it's too bad 90% of it has some awful lettering screened or embroidered on it. But they've always had a "post-apocalyptic" vibe that I kinda dug

I like replay and if G -star plays its cards right it will be as big as diesel ( globally) if not bigger.

I think you'd have to take those cards out of a Svengali deck.

I have a pair of black 3301s that I've worn maybe twice. Fairly underwhelming, as I recall.

back in the days, G-Star and Diesel were head to head. I got both jeans and they both were my fav and held up nicely. Diesel took off and had some pretty good stuff for awhile. G-star just kinda disappeared.

The fits for G-star are bang on. Really slim. Their jackets and outerwear are nice. Too bad their logo is plastered everywhere.

I don't like their jeans because if I wanted post-apocalyptic denim I rather buy drkshdw or n(n)...better washes and cuts.

But their outerwear is spot on, great slim fit for the price. If they get rid of the stupid logo-whoring and weird details (e.g lame exposed yellow stitching on an otherwise bargain price slim fit m65) I would probably buy a piece or two on sale for rough weather and drinking steez.

I dislike G-star very much, even before I was introduced to SF. the people who wore it always seemed to be the type guys who wanted to show off with its logo noticeable on every piece of clothing.

You are supposed to wear the clothes, not the clothes wear you.

I like the fits as well but also hate the logos. If they calmed down with the logos I'd be more interested in their jackets/outerwear.

What ever happened to that line they were going to do with Dries Van Noten?
