family will move 15 august. I should move out in the first week of june.

If work is in Skokie, I'd encourage you to look at Evanston as a location if you haven't already found a place where you want to live.

thanks, I was thinking of that and des plains, with just my first thoughts. any thoughts on that?

open question - anybody else have recomendations of where to look in the area?

What fantastic news! Mazel tov on the twins and the job! You and your wife must be ecstatic.

I'd really look at living in Evanston. It's much more interesting than Des Plaines.

Evanston is fantastic. Housing prices and property taxes will be higher, but I think it's worth it.
