That's a 33% increase...wtf??

Agreed PB. Couple that we the reintroduction of the "Top Drawer" line and it spells major increases for EG across the board.

But remember, the UK sale is in July, just around the corner.

EDIT: Norcal "lightning fingers" transplant beat Andrew to the punch...

We could start calling you "Flash" but that wouldn't help with the shoe porn search problem, would it?

The devil wears Edwrad Green, not Prada!

USD sucks at the moment, I don't blame them...

Agreed, z. I've been wondering if the pound will crack $2. I'm torn between wanting to get the good stuff at a reasonable price, and doing my part to help these "traditional" English businesses stay in business. We don't want EG to end up like Chester Barrie. I am seriously thinking of a trunk show order in the future; maybe that will appease the English shoe gods!

I haven't had the opportunity to look at the entire thread...will the 40% + 15% on the Mackay work at RL stores, say the one in Beverly Hills? My plan is to go to RL tomorrow and find my size. I won't get there until about 7:00. If they have my size in black I will purchase them at BH, but if they don't have them I'm going to get them online. What do you guess the chances are of the 9.5-10.5D ranges (I'm going to be one of those) being available at 8PM pacific tomorrow? Thanks for your help.

Forgive me if that was choppy and didn't make much sense, I'm multi-tasking.

Not good, I fear, though black will probably be easier to find than brown.
A manager at the Polo Mansion told me today that the company didn't reorder the Mackay for fall and has sold through much of the stock. Most of the remainders have been sent to NYC. They've been selling briskly there, too, he said. (I believe the Mansion started offering the extra 15 percent off today, though I could be wrong.)

One good sign: All the sizes you're looking for are still available in black on the Web site. But I'm not sure I'd wait until 8 p.m. Pacific to order.

If they're sold out of my size in the store will they have the capability to purchase off the internet at the store?

I think they can only order from other stores.

I thought it was the internet that was going to order from the other stores. In other words, if the stores can't find them, the internet probably won't, either.

We'll see how it goes tonight. Planning on staying up to see if the sale starts at midnight....

Now I know what it feels like for those people who wait in line outside of stores on the Friday morning after Thanksgiving. Except I'm at home. Suckers!

Anyone know if the Mansion or other NYC stores carry the black skull & crossbones umbrella?

Tried to do the code through the Polo site, and got this message:

Your order does not meet the requirements for this promotion. Please proceed through the checkout process with your order.

MacKays full price. Anyone know what's up?

The 15% seem to apply to almost all RLPL products (not on the shoes)... however none of them is on sale (-40%) yet... so the full discount is 15%... strange

I got the same problem. I also tried it with various items to see if some were excluded. Maybe we have to wait until morning?
