FWIW, this is what my Blu-ray Library now contains. I took some recs from this thread. Some were movies on my own list. Others were movies that were under $10 bucks so I just grabbed them. I'm generally trying to get movies I don't already own in other formats first: "The Terminator [Blu-ray]" "Speed [Blu-ray] "Unforgiven [Blu-ray]" "Commando [Blu-ray]" "GoodFellas [Blu-ray]" "The Departed [Blu-ray]" "Nine Inch Nails Live - Beside You in Time [Blu-ray]" "V for Vendetta [Blu-ray]" "Batman Begins [Blu-ray]" "2001: A Space Odyssey [Blu-ray]" "Troy - The Director's Cut [Blu-ray]" "Blade Runner (Five-Disc Complete Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray]" "King Of New York [Blu-ray]" "I, Robot [Blu-ray]" "Predator [Blu-ray]" "Rambo 1-3 Boxset [Blu-ray]" "Contact [Blu-ray]" "Star Trek (Three-Disc +Digital Copy) [Blu-ray]" "Casino Royale (Collector's Edition + BD Live) [Blu-ray]" "The Dark Knight (+ BD Live) [Blu-ray]" "Being There [Blu-ray]" "Tango & Cash [Blu-ray]" "Quantum of Solace [Blu-ray]" "The International [Blu-ray]" "Wolf [Blu-ray]" "The Professional [Blu-ray]" "Underworld (Unrated) [Blu-ray]"

I saw it when it came out on DVD, it's a great movie. But I'm usually biased towards movies that take place in Europe.

FYI today Newegg has them for $125 shipped after the 10% "bing cash back." That's crazy cheap.

I can't bother to look right now, but most of the 2tb drives are shite so far. They're LP or "Green" drives. They're slow as fack. The Seagate 2TB drives in particular are awful (google seagate 2tb clicking noise). The only company that's released a 7200rpm drive last I checked was Hitachi.

Rotational speed affects latency and seeking, not transfer rates. You wouldn't install an operating system, a database, or a video game on a 5400 rpm drive, but it's good for pictures, movies, general data storage, etc. I also picked up a pair of 1.5tb external drives for $90 each after the cashback. They make great Christmas presents.
