^ Pix are good. Went this afternoon. Many beautiful things. Liked Olch & Spade & Hillside ties esp. But the earnestness of the Americana style depresses me. There is pleasure in the stuff, and I like the artisanal/USA made focus, but a great earnestness & lack of wit in many of the tastemakers and their adherents. Jack Spade was the exception, but a lonely one.

Very true. It was kind of funny with everyone looking as if they were on their lunch break from the mill.

I loved the McNairy blue chukkas.

They have a good union.

It was as if Pepper LaBeija decided to do a tribute to Cone Mills.

Mauro's boys were nice.

I hope they were good! Did you have a drink with them?
There were drinks? Never offered to me. I take back all the nice things I said.

those mother fuckers.

I might have to fire them. well maybe just one of them and they can pick who has to walk.

That too harsh. Just send me a bottle of whatever they were handing out and all is forgiven.
