fack I just got some skinnies in a 30 an i can't even get them on lol. I'm a 28NS, 29PS, and wear a 31 khaki size... should I just go up and get a 31 skinny? I really want a cut similar to the NS if possible

@ben2t How many inches did your denim stretch?

EDIT: Sorry!! I just red it above. You said 2 inches.

Just wondering, is getting a denim button from a local fabric store good enough? Like just hammering it back in or something? I kinda want that area on the button fly filled since my junk might get cold since winter's a coming

its okey, it stretch around 2 inches because i forced it to, lol, because its so tight to begin with i sprayed some fabric softener around the waist, i just can't say if that helps with the stretching.

Noob question...do these need a pre-soak before wearing or am i good just breaking them in through daily wear? I've only worn them for <2 days so yea, any help/tips appreciated!

Just remember this. Every raw denim has somewhere written if they are sanforized or unsaforized.

What is sanforized you ask? Ahaaa... your answer is here

the majority of all raw denim is sanforized and with these you don't have to do anything. Just wear the shit out of them right away.

If they are UNsanforized, you need to soak them first. By soaking them you kind of doing a sanforization a la DIY.

Unbranded belongs to the majority that are already sanforized so no worries, just tear them apart!

^ Thanks buddy! That was really helpful!

I ended reading something somewhere about presoaking sanforized denim would remove the starch or something and make it softer, is that true too?

Could be, I never tried it so I can't tell for sure.

But know that (almost) NOBODY does that, because the sanforization process already takes out a lot of the starch.

Second, if you make your denim softer it wouldn't make them fade better. Soaking your sanforized rawrs is really unnecessary. Then again there are no rules in how to wear your denim, there is only good advice.

i originally had a pair of size 30 201's but i gained weight from weight lifting. i couldnt walk up stairs or sit down in them, couldnt even put one finger inbetween the waist.

i sized up to a 32, and can fit 2 maybe 3 fingers in the waist, and button it fairly easy. i wore my other pair a lot but they never seemed to really stretch.

do these look too big?

I purchased a size 32 (I wear 31 in Levis 513, 514 and 32 in Levis 511). The Unbranded Skinny seemed much tighter than the Levis 511. I wore it around the house for a couple hours and it seemed to loosen slightly. But I didnt like the cut (neither did my wife). She said it made my legs look shorter compared to the Levis I have. I guess these are less tapered? So it's going back to the store.

Both of you... Just prove your facts and you're done! Don't just say ''its the best of the best''... and please don't just say ''this is pure bullshit. It's from china.'' Prove it!

By the way adding that ''this brand sucks'' without giving good arguments is kind of childish and pathetic. To think that your mind is so small and you just can't find that little place to accept somebody else that likes 'unbranded denim'. You know, you remind me of my nephew of 8 he just yells ''I HATE GIRLS'', not knowing he's gonna love them soon :P. But I guess you're a little older than my nephew and that't the pathetic part!

Oh and please don't think I'm a huge UB fan, because I sense that there is something they're not telling about why it's so cheap. I also have a pair of N&F myself and I just KNOW that there is better quality than this. My point is that we can talk about this subject like normal people and that could have been very interesting too, but this forum doesn't need the sh*t you just dropped.
