I can think of a few brands for $280 that do that I love these jeans but still, lol. At least it looks intentional with the angle of "shop"

Can't make any judgments as to fit or quality. They are what they are - $80 jeans. What's annoying is the not-so-subtle, slightly snobbish brand image which is trying to project "i'm too cool for brands."

Some guy on HB was bragging about how these "jawnz" don't have Japanese writing on them which I believe is a dig at Gap's original japanese selvage from Spring. Seriously dude, are these any different?

Come to think of it, that's exactly what's so annoying about UO. The people who shop there act like their too alternative for the mall brands and mainstream designer labels... even though UO's entire M.O. is to rip off those exact things.

I suppose for noobs it could be a decent choice but I'm sticking with "more in, more out". Nothing cheap will be able to come near a pair of higher end denim. The slim straight looks weird on the bottom too, could just be that they're new but they drape terribly. Kind of seems like they didn't put a lot of thought into proportions, kind of like they didn't actually come up with 3 different cuts but rather changed a few random measurements and didn't change any other details such as pockets, beltloops, carrier, waistband, etc.

That's disappointing. I was hoping for an affordable (Less than $100) and decently cut jean that I could pick up as gifts for friends.

bingo. only time i go there is to raid their sale accessories bin to see if anything is worth buying. i'm just glad the "Getting Lucky in Kentucky" phrase type of shirts haven't resurfaced. Yet...

I tried the skinny jeans on in size 30, they were super tight on me, and super long (aka stacking x10) The inseam def had to mesure over a 34-36. I'm a 30 in inseam, so I didn't buy them. But the jeans themselfs were very stiff, and I would love to see some of you guys breaking them in.

It looks like online the only option is 34 inseam no matter what waist size you select.

Everyone gets so snobbish when something new appears. These look like decent cheap jeans.

If you want a chuckle read the first five pages on the naked & famous thread before they got big. So much scoffing without even seeing them.
