I myself are pretty satisfied, I really like when the fading are a contrast to the rest of the jeans, and not too bright and torn up

They look good bro.  And they do sell snus here in the US...but only pussies use it.  Cowboys dip Copenhagen snuff.  RT.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.. (to the Brokeback Mountain boy)

Didnt know they sold snus in the U.S., anyways, here the chew tobacco is rare..

No problem man... Was just fooling around, haha. Wear looks good, given the amount of time and the result after the wash.

Hehe, thanks.. Yeah, pretty good result after three months, right ? :)

The thing is, if I want some quality selvedge, I have to ship abroad, and pay around 40 bucks for the shipping, plus tax.. so everything gets so godamn expensive.. I really want a pair of either momos or Iron Heart, but thats gonna cost me about $500 in total :/

Thats way of on a student budget..

500 bucks? Where are you from?
I suggest e-mailing Jay at Blue Owl (sales@blueowl.us). Free shipping and hemming on orders above 200 USD.

I live and are from Norway, and the tax anyways comes at 25%.. I paid about 800 kroner (135 bucks) in total for my pair of unbranded, even before they jacked up the price..

And the jeans they got here inlands, sucks balls.... all nudie (no offence to anyone)

Hey everyone I am new to this forum and selvedge denim as well. Just discovered this Unbranded brand not long ago and thinking of buying the tapered ones but just wondering what's the sizes is like? I wear 34 in most of the other jeans/pants and I checked the size chart on blueowl as well, seems like I should be getting a 33' cause the actual measurement is 34' am I right? Thank you for reading! :)

Hi,  Don't just look at the waist.  The waist stretches easier than most measurements... I need to pay most attention to the thigh and rise.  For me a waist that fits great will mean nothing if I cant get em past my thighs. I bought the tagged 34's which were great at 1st,  they now don't fit after a recent soak.   I wish I would have went up a size

Can anyone tell me what the thigh size is of a pair of 34 waist 301's?

I have about a 24" thigh (measured around my actual leg) and the 34 301s were definitely tight when I put them on the first time. They've stretched a fair bit in the three weeks I've been wearing them, so they're now quite comfy for just about everything, although still a little restrictive when I'm on my bike. I'd guess the original size was probably right around 24" (so a 12 or 12.5" measurement across the thigh).

Thanks! My 26" thighs probably won't fit in that case.

Need some advice: I have a pair of unbranded that I picked up from the sales rack at my local UO for about $15. I put about a month's worth of wear on them before I went to Japan last week and bought a pair of momotaro raws.

I now no longer have the time to break the unbrandeds in, as I work in an office and can only wear denim twice a week as it is. Any suggestions on creative/funny ways to break them in? They were cheap anyways, so I'd even be open to crazy stuff like tying them to a tree or something lol

What are you trying to accomplish with them?

Why not just wear them in when you do have time... what's the hurry/end goal here?

there's no hurry, but i just dont have the time to wear them in like a regular pair of raw denim. i bought them at a time when i wasnt sure if i was willing to commit to expensive $200+ pairs of denim, but now that i have, i can't see myself ever wanting to go back to committing what limited time i have available to wear jeans to breaking in a relatively cheaper pair of unbrandeds. thus, i might as well do something weird/crazy with it and see how things turn out with them.

Wear them at home.  My 221s are too tight in the thighs/knee for my look.  I still like the jeans and love their evo, but I don't really wear them out.  My "activity" in them entails sitting cross-legged: It's given them some nice whiskers and some wicked honeycombs.  Maybe you can make them your housepants.  Or cut them up and make some shorts.... Hey, there's an idea, its still summer; make some shorts out of them!
