Go TTS on these.  I normally wear a 32 and got these in a 31.  They were tight for a week or so and then they fit fine.  These stretch alot.

Thanks for the info.  I've decided to go TTS with the tapered fit.  Can't wait!!

Got a pair of UB301s in the mail yesterday, wearing them today for my first full day. After some of the complaints on this thread I was surprised at how impressed (or not-disappointed) I was with the finishing--the stitching on mine looks very clean. Overall so far I'm very impressed with everything except the front pockets, which have to be the worst-designed pocket layout of all time. The hand pockets are insanely shallow, forcing anything in them up into the crease of your hips and making it reeeeally easy to pocket-dial everyone you know, while the coin pocket is deep and narrow, which means that once you've thrown coins in you're never getting them back until you take the pants off.

I've never owned a $300 pair of jeans (I spend enough time on a bike that I can't imagine the crotch lasting long enough to ever make that worth it), but for my money at the price point these seem quite decent. Certainly a lot better than what you'd get for the same price from Levi's or equivalent. Got them new from an ebay seller for $75, so I didn't even have to support Urban Bull$***ers, either icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

for anyone who's been wearing the chinos, can you comment on how long or how easily they break in/soften up? much appreciated, thanks.

I have them in a tagged 34 and hemmed to a 32 by Blue Owl.  I wore mine 2 times total and cant even imagine wearing them for more than an hour or 2.  Because U would tend not to wear them 7 days a week like raw denim, it will take quite some time to break em in.  I made a boo boo and went a size to small.  That said if anyone is interested in a FREE pair of the beige skinny UB Chinos, please message me.  Ill send em for free to anyone in the united states as well as I'll pay for shipping.  U may ask why free...No good reason but I just want them out of my closet and onto someone that wants emcheers.gif

AND THEY ARE GONE

Hey, Ive worn my 201 tapered for 85 days now, never soaked or washed. By the looks of them, they could go about 80 days more before a wash, but they kind of smell a little, but not very much, I rarely think about it, but the jeans are kind of dirty, just a little... , but it have collected some dirt near the inseam, or under.

Do you guys think its too soon to wash?

Im thinking seawash..

Sorry for the crappy picture.

LOL. Everybody w/Unbrandeds dips chaw and keeps it in those tight as back pockets.

RE: Washing-  NO WAY.  You chose to get a pair of the cheapest jap selvage jeans there are...wear them hard!  I've posted a pair of my filthy 221s a couple months ago.  I've since taken them fishing for a healthy dose of slime, guts, and Jameson whiskey.  No wash (and oddly no smell).  Stand firm my good man and let them go at least 3 more months to get your contrast fading on, then wash 'em (and post the before after pics in this thread).  If you are worried about smell, just wear them out on a dry sunny day; I've found that sun speeds fading and also gets the stank out.  Thumbs me up if this helps.

These jeans, me and my friend ordered exactly like, was a competition, and Iam moving in a couple of weeks, so we had to find a winner...

Anyways, heres my jeans, I will post his later, so you guys can judge wich of them thats the coolest..

What do you guys think of mine?

I myself are pretty satisfied, I really like when the fading are a contrast to the rest of the jeans, and not too bright and torn up

They look good bro.  And they do sell snus here in the US...but only pussies use it.  Cowboys dip Copenhagen snuff.  RT.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.. (to the Brokeback Mountain boy)

Didnt know they sold snus in the U.S., anyways, here the chew tobacco is rare..

No problem man... Was just fooling around, haha. Wear looks good, given the amount of time and the result after the wash.
