Word of advice, when people say these are "true to fit" it means they will technically fit, but it will be like a glove. Seriously there is pretty much no air between the denim and my thighs, it is a snug fit, and Im not really that big of a dude. I work out and do some moderate leg work, I wear a size 31 everywhere else and size L tops. Im getting some slight muffin top with these jeans. Yes, I was able to button them all the way up (a tad forcefully), and Im sure they will loosen slightly over time, but to me, that is not grounds to consider something "fitting". There is only so much that stretch can provide.

If you are going for an extremely silhouetted look, it might work, but this renders the pockets completely useless, restricts your range of motion and is altogether fairly cramped for your crotch (I cant imagine what kind of nightmare this fit would be after a days worth of walking around in warmer weather).

If you go commando, it might give you a small bit of relief/room

I am probably going to return these and go for the 33. I suppose if I didnt wear underwear and had nothing in my pockets these might work, but Id prefer a pair of jeans that didnt come with such restrictions.

Anyone else feel the same way? Or am I crazy, and they will magically stretch out to something more comfortable?

That's how mine feel lol, I just tank it..its not super tight but it's not forgiving in room or anything either. My front pockets are kinda useless especially sitting down but besides that, i've gotten used to the little bit (almost nonexistent) of air room between my skin and the denim. I went true to size and with a 32 as well when i'm usually a 32 (or maybe i got fatter lol..)

Theres nothing to gain here. Is your standard literally "if you can get it on, it fits"?

Does it not look absurd when your fly buttons are visibly straining against themselves?

urban outfitters stopped carrying unbrandeds.

Yup, exactly the same thing. I wear a 31 in naked & famous weird guys, have good fitting 32 unbranded slim which is a little loose in the waist and more of a straight leg cut, 30 unbranded indigo tapered which are tight, and now these 31 grey tapered...these 31's in grey are smaller than the 30's in indigo, same tapered fit LOL. I'm putting them on for sale here and I ordered 33's which is territory I've never been in, but these seriously fit like 29's.

On a better note, the red chambray is really thick and well made, it's a keeper.

I'm about to buy my second pair of raw jeans and can't really decide what to get. I now have the APC Petit Standards and like how they look and feel but think that they taper too much.

So I was thinking of buying the APC New Standards but then again I would like to have a heavyweight pair of jeans and would the New Standards be "too baggy"? How do the Unbranded 121 compare with the Petit Standards, are they any wider in the leg opening? I'm wearing size 32 in Petit Standards and if I'm going with the New Standards I will most likely get the 31's.

Probably way too much trouble. People return them all the time because they never actually fit

They still have some but no indigo denim. Maybe they're just restocking?

Sorry boys, f***city is misinformed. Urban Outfitters did not stop carrying Unbranded. Unbranded is in fact their #1 best selling mens denim online and in some physical locations too. UO has over 100 locations in USA and the stock is constantly changing and being passed around to different stores. Some stores in smaller markets have never carried Unbranded, in other cases the buyers decide to add or takeaway stock from certain locations.

I think he thought that because there isn't any more raw indigo product on their website

I think they pulled them because they're having a $39 Jean sale on all jeans that lasts until the end of the weekend. If I had to guess, they'll be back on Monday

Yeah, the local store had no unbranded out at all. Was thinking they would be $39 but no... it's ok, if they fit like N&F I wouldn't buy anyway, at any price.

HEADS UP -- the $39 sale DOES apply to the Unbranded jeans, but it seems to be in store only. The jeans are still on sale for 49 on the UO website. I just went in a couple hours ago to exchange my 32 tapered grey for a 33 and order the red chambray shirt. The manager took my exchange and gave me the new size 33 tapered grey for $39! And I found a pair of size 32 straight fit indigo for $19.99! They are a snug fit, but stretchable. And you guys are right, they do seem to have a slight flare, almost bootcut I would say. Strange.

There is one more pair of size 32 indigo selvedge there. If someone really wants, I can go get them for you. I would ask you to call the store and confirm first.

yea i could be. just noticed they pulled all the indido and heavyweight from the website. and no longer in store in my town. take it for what its worth. but for me locally and online urban is not carrying indigo unbranded.

Hey if I want to shrink my unbranded skinnys am I suppose to wash them in hot water or something after i have like 4-6 months of wear on them ? or what should I do to shrink them without losing the potential of fades

You could try a cold soak and a hot dry to minimize bleeding

My 21oz are way to thight, so Ive ordered a size bigger in 14.5 oz, I hope these will fit comfortably.

Meanwhile Iam trying to stretch the 21oz with all I got, anyone got some tips?

The waist is one problem, but the biggest problem is actually the rise, its gnawing at my penis :(

Ive put a lot of firewood (actually) to stretch the waist, while its a little moist. I did this with my Nudies a while back, theyre 29" and now theyre pretty comfortable.

I dont want to give up, but I really doubt it will be wearable.. :(
