Anybody watching this? The first four episodes have been very good, but it's really hard to judge without knowing how it will end. I eagerly await the finale tonight!

Reviews have been harsh. However, I know I will eventually check it out. Plus, you can't go wrong with Sir Ian McKellen.

I noticed my wife has started to TiVo these. Is this a rehash of the 1960s program of the same name?

No, it isn't a rehash. It's a retelling.

Really? I've read a bunch of reviews, and most have been medium to very positive. The constant message -- from those who liked it and from those who didn't -- is that "if you like weird stuff, watch it; if you don't, then don't." Well, that only makes sense. That's like saying "If you don't like romantic comedies, don't see Sleepless in Seattle." Well, duh! The Prisoner is weird, all right, although I've heard it winds up being more coherent than the original.

^ Yes. It's not so much the genre itself but the accessibility factor. Complex story-telling coupled with a lot of trippy images won't appeal to a majority, I'm sure. However, I'm a fan of the original so I'll watch it eventually.

I like it. It's like Lost meets The Truman Show.

Caviezel finally found a role perfectly suited for him.

Awesome ending! I loved it. I was worried it would turn out stupid or mundane, but it was really quite cool, even though not everything is explained.

I had high hopes for this but ultimately wasn't impressed.

After watching the first 2 episodes, I've decided it's not for me. I was desperate to find a replacement for Mad Men and it doesn't hold my interest very well.

It's on AMC, not A&E, correct? I haven't checked it out yet, but I loved the original as a child.

I hated this- probably the worst 6 hours I've spent watching TV. Very incoherent to me at least. Did not even give a real explanation as to how the whole thing was being done. Lost is leaps and bounds better than this.

Sorry, you're right. Didn't even catch that before!

Surely you're joking. Lost had/has very little imagination. Ooooh, there's somethign scary in the woods! Ooooh, dangerous people are running around with guns! Please....

Sorry, I just did not like it. You really don't like Lost?
