No disrespect to the person and his clothes,or the photographer for that matter. The wall color makes the shot work.

I would never wear that myself, but, I think it looks good on this guy.

He looks good, and I hope that when I am his age that I care enough to continue to try to dress interestingly well.

Thumbs up. Bold and interesting without appearing to be a costume (for him, at least).

Is the shirt solid pink or a check?

I read in a New York newspaper he was one of those true WASPS.

I've been enjoying all the pics of colored cords/trousers recently, particularly as the trend seems to have picked up among a certain crowd on the UES. Two years ago, there were very few of us who would wear brightly colored cords in the winter and nantucket reds in the summer. Now they are everywhere!

Was even more surprised to see a good friend of mine show up in one of your pictures! He is going to be the recipient of some good ribbing for a long time once the link gets sent around.

I like it a lot. Am I the only one to find the pants too short, though?

The large cuffs and shorter trousers are a Trad thing. It's one of the areas where I diverge from the "true Trad."
