Yes, I had to find a picture with the Alitalia livery. The plain ones look menacing though. I'd love to see one up close or, even better, get to flog one around a soil/gravel track I know I know, fat chance, lol. P.s. wish I could find a good picture of a black Abarth-treated Strada. The yellow one will have to do I guess.

Here's a rather nice Toyota:

Why would you put the 3D rendering of the Bond 2KGT up? I want to see that supercool Sony TV communicator and the hot chick in the passenger seat.

Good pick LK. I forgot about the 2000 GT.

It was the only ideal image of it.

Yeah, that 2000GT is sweet.

I like the Datsun 240Z, which shares very similar lines. I like it especially when the owner throws a supercharged 350 in it.

Better yet, 2JZ-GTE, the Japanese legend. Too bad Supras are fairies: you hear about them but you never see them. Regardless the 240Z (the "Zed" for you Americans) is a beautiful car with so many swapping options. I hear RB26DETTs can fit too. I'm all about the Japanese straight-6s.

Of the interwar models, the early 1930s are my favorites. A couple of nice examples are here, particuarly the 1930 and 1932.

Also, a 1931 Phaeton:

It's been more than ten years now, but the owner of the Toyota agency in Kearny Mesa (San Diego) had five of the 2000 GTs in his personal collection. It was quite a sight to see. They were under an awning on a side street across from the offices of our Bedlington Terrier's veterinary doctors.

However, my very favorite version of the 2000 GTs was the one-off that Tiger Tanaka's operative used to rescue Bond/Connery in You Only Live Twice. Subsequently, a replica LHD Spyder was built by hacking off the roof of a coupe a la Strahmann's 365 GTB into 365 GTS. The replica was built with the correct knock-on alloy disc wheels rather than the flashy chrome wire wheels of the movie car.

After all, this thread is about the coolest cars of all time.

STi. I've done as much improving to the car as I can, cosmetically (removing the excessive amount of badging, taking out the godawful amber reflectors from the headlamps, a little tint, and its black) so I think Ive smoothed it out a bit.. Oh, and its a blast to drive with all the suspension work I've done to it. I love it.

I just finished watching the Top Gear episode with the Bugatti Veyron. Sweet freakin' Jesus! That is a pinnacle of engineering and design that will probably never be matched in my lifetime.

I've thought this was the coolest car ever when I heard about it a few months back, but I was just reminded when I watched Sunday's new Top Gear. It's the platform of Subaru's R2, with the guts of a Prodrive tuned STi. And it could be built and sold for about 70,000 USD or so. Unfortunately, only test cars will be built. But the car exists!

Well, it's probably the heaviest car of all time. LOL. Seriously though, the 6 Royale's are rolling works of art.
