I don't have any, but interviews in Roundel (BMW Car Club of America's magazine) and in other magazines, as well as videos released by BMW every so often show that this is not the case.

I’ve seen them. And he mentions a lot of non-car related objects. Also, he looks like a spastic version of Paul Lynde when he is talking (and he dress like shit, of course that’s neither here nor there…although it does show how his ‘style’ reflects on the cars). And I’ve read about his speeches to journalists / design students, and again he mentions a lot of non-car, non-road related objects. Unless I see evidence to the contrary, I’m sticking by my original opinion. Jon.

Jeez Jon, no one can have a differing opinion on a topic can they?

Back to the topic at hand:

1962 250 GT SWB...possibly my favourite car ever.

And it's sexier breathern the 250 Lusso

I've always had an affinity for the 78 Aston Martin Vantage. It kind of looks like a Mustang on steriods.

Sure they can, I am merely arguing my case. Did I degrade anyone personally?

And getting back to the topic: the Ferrari 250 GT SWB is awesome!

I'll jump on the Z8 bandwagon for coolest current production model.

For coolest of all time, I'm partial to the Shelby/AC Cobra 427 (in British racing green, please), the original GT40, and almost any interwar Pierce-Arrow.

I'll add pictures when I get home.

Good call on the Cobra. Definitely one of my favorite American cars.

Funny story- I was down at Lime Rock Park last year for the BMW/Rolex Vintage festival. The guest speaker was Carrol Shelby who happened to walk by the tent of a (very lucky) Cobra dealer. He raised the value of one of the fine examples they brought along when he autographed the dashboard.

I second that and would add Packard.

I am probably the only person in this forum who really loves the E30 M3 (especially the Evo II). I don't know why but it has that raw aura, only slightly obscured by a clean coat of paint, which is found only in homologation specials. That being said, I also love the earlier Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions, especially the I, III, V, VI, and VI TME. The VII, VIII, and IX are all great, but they are not only too clean and road-friendly. The Lancia Delta S4, Metro 6R4, Pulsar GTi-R, Ford RS200, Escort Cosworth RS, Impreza WRX STi, and the Delta HF Integrale are also high on my list. I'm a sucker for the rough ones. They're like a tough athlete who puts on nice clothes: they look clean on the outside, but you know they're hardcore.

Certainly not. The E30 M3 is a great car. I love it.

Ugly is beautiful. I agree with you completely. I drive an ugly car that happens to be on your list, and I'd have nothing else even with double the budget.

OMIGOD! Which one? Obviously must be the STi or Evo, right?

More beautiful/cool ugliness

Two days ago on the highway I saw a '67 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500, white w/ blue double stripe. Man, was that a sweet car. First time I've seen one in person.

Oh Lancia Stratos, How could I forget you? Damn I love that livery.
