What can you do in only 4 weeks? - Page 3

I'll assume you've pieced together some gym and exercise advice by now. You've probably also figured out that you need to give up the Tastycakes and other shitfood. How about:

1. massively increase intake of water and dietary fiber
2. eat fish a couple of times a week (avoid that sugary rice under the nigiri and in maki)
3. stop drinking soda including diet soda
4. limit booze because it's big empty calories
5. sleep at least seven hours each night
6. eat breakfast
7. limit coffee and tea intake
8. two enemas a week

Why no coffee? Doesn't caffeine help speed up metabolism (and, at the very least, if you're drinking black coffee/espresso, it has 0 calories)?

caffein doesnt really speed up your metabolism, but the coffee does act as a sort of appetite suppressant. and the caffein does wire you up a bit so you right before a workout you can do a up tempo without feeling sluggish. from my experience

No alcohol for a month will make a big difference (if you're an average drinker). Try being mostly vegetarian for the 1st week or two and use a fiber supplement like metamucil or citrucel powder. You may not lose much weight but you'll feel skinnier (much more productive bathroom visits).

vegetarian for two weeks might decrease your weight due to decrease caloric intake, but part of that weight loss will be muscle loss.

eat 200g of lean protein everyday, 30g of good carbohydrates. supplement with multivitamins, fish oil (equivalent of 1.2 g GRAMS of DHA, equivalent to about 10x1 gram fish oil capsules), and lastly 200mg high quality green tea extract, 200mg of caffeine, 10mg of ephederine three times daily, last dose 6 hours before you sleep and switch out ephederine for yohimbine (15mg, 6x2.5mg capusules) for the period dosage just before your work out.

2 x week fully body met con work out (3 rounds of 6 complex movement workouts with 1 min break inbtw. max 30 min). 2L of cold water every day. do for 2 weeks everyday no fail or 3, 4 weeks with 1 "free" (ie less restricted, but still healthy enough carbs, 200g protein, good fats) meals every 4, 5 days.

start out with half dosages of the ephederine, caffeine stack and yohimbine caffeine stack and the cold water for the first week. ramp up to full dosage second week.

you might not see a huge change on the scale, but if you use body calipers you'll notice bf% decreasing quite a bit.

after the two weeks ramp up the calories with more high quality carbs and more high quality fat and maintain. increase workout schedule.

thank you mr. mcdonald

I've been trying to gain weight for a while, and the one thing I have found out is that if you do cardio before lifting, the lifting does nothing. If you do cardio and lifting in the same day make sure that cardio comes second.

run/walk every day and eat heatlhier food

4 weeks would make it a habit.

For me I'm trying to make it a point to spring out of bed and do sets with my Perfect Pushups. and some sit ups. I'd like to have a nice little work out that I can motor through to get me going - I've also taken up running in the morning on an empty stomach to burn through calories. It's a bitch to get started but once you start committing to it your mornings start to look a lot better and you can ice grill the bleary eyed commuters like "i eat nails for breakfast son."

You can do allot in 4 weeks. You could drop about 10 lbs if you are over weight and at the same time get some muscle tone. I'll assume you are over weight for a second: 1. Drink lots of water. 2 litres a day would be a good start 2. eat as much green stuff as you want - spinich, brocoli, green beans etc 3. No red meat, no lamb, no egg yolks, no cheese, no butter, no nuts, NO: white bread, sugar, potatos, fried foods, corn etc. 4. eat 8-12oz of lean meat, chicken breast (no skin), tuna, prawns each day an no more 5. NO BOOZE 6. Take up Yoga, and some high rep strength building + cardio of your choice Give it a month and you be very happy with the result. Now if you want to gain size - the most effective way i found is wait till your in you 30's and married and you won't have to work too hard to puton weight.
