Assuming you have roughly 4 weeks to transform/improve yourself and bring out the best in you, where would you start?

I did this.

I worked out with a trainer 3 days a week and hiked, biked or worked out on the other 4 days. With the trainer I did circut training. She kept me moving from weights to cardio to balance to sit-ups, push ups for an hour. I only lost a couple of pounds but I got quite trim and began to feel some definition. I felt tired the first two weeks but then began to get more energy and endurance. My wife loved the results.

The key was to push hard and vary the workout. If you are pushing hard you will need to eat the right things. Talk to a nutritionist and work on a balanced diet.

For weight loss, meth. For weight gain, anabolic steroids. Combine the two and you'll be a golden god.

How did you feel after the first session with the trainer at the gym? On average how much time did you spend per day at gym and outdoors?

Thanks!

Do you compensate the reduction of carbs with an increase in protein consumption? What your diet look like?

Thanks!

The first few sessions I was trashed. But, I sure slept well. The other days I worked out, biked or hiked for 1+ hr. It isn't the amount of time, it is the intensity. You have yo push yourself.

well, for me, (and for you perhaps as it is implied by the title that you want to get something started with some decent results, not some intricate planned long term overhaul)

i just reduced the carbs in half anyway i can but kept my diet the same so as to not relapse, basically start off with small steps.
basically reduced the caloric intake therefore for the day.
my diet is relatively worse than most body conscious people here, so i have to compensate in terms of aerobic exercise everyday.

i have been taking alot of young barley grass daily and that has helped me alot in terms of keeping my appetite in check (sort of fills me up), reducing my internal acidicity, losing some weight (i am more regular than usual in terms of bowel) , and my face and skin thus also appears more clear (and younger)

i am taking the aioji (sp?) japanese brand barley powder mix.

I'll develop my metabolism to reach its optimum potential. I learned that drinking 1 glass of water for every 20 lb of our body weight not only keeps our body hydrated all the time but also promotes in good circulation and optimum metabolic performance. Hope this helps!

I lost about 5 kg in 4 weeks just by going on a 6400KJ diet (the actual daily food intake is bit more than that I'm sure and I binge at least once a week) and going to the gym about 4 times per week doing only 5 minutes stretching + 20 minutes treadmill. Now my clothes fit a lot more comfortably. My goal is to lose another 3 kilos.
